Gorgeous and Green started as a sustainable and eco-friendly wedding planning and event decor business back in 2008, before we had an online store and even before we had our brick and mortar stores. So it's only fitting that we should be named a Top Wedding Florist by Florist's Review for 2023! We've put in the work and as a sustainable florist using eco friendly methods, this is a major achievement!

We are Named a Top 50 Wedding Florist of North America by Florist's Review Magazine!

Here's a link to the online magazine.

We've had the opportunity to help decorate so many beautiful events over the past 15 years, and we've had a plethora of amazing weddings these past two years since the Covid lockdown. We are always challenging ourselves to make our sustainable floristry methods and flowers work harder every year, and this year was no exception!

Here are just a few snapshots of designs we've created for weddings over the years.

We have worked at venues all over the Bay Area and Beyond and look forward to continue to work at these venues and more in the future. Here's a list of some of our favorites and what they have to offer:

One of our favorite destination wedding sites to date, weekend wedding vibes, lots of outdoor spaces and pretty places to stay on site.
A favorite garden venue in the Bay Area, lovely California style and look, and a nice indoor outdoor wedding venue area.
Beautiful outdoor courtyard for an alfresco reception, redwoods and indoor dance area too. Really close to home but feels like a small bit of paradise. Also budget friendly.
Modern high ceiling vibes in the Dogpatch area of San Francisco. A fun canvas to decorate.
Beautiful country looks, long horn cattle and a nice rustic property to stay at on site. The Oak tree is a nice addition to your ceremony.
Cool venue in the Dogpatch of SF with city vibes and plenty of space.
Unique venue with spacious grounds, plenty of outdoor ceremony locations, and a very cool retro bar and cocktail area.
Beautiful rooms, a la Julia Morgan, darks woods, tall ceilings, unique details. Classy San Francisco style right in downtown.
Theater style with lots of space, gorgeous details, big bars and that big night out feel. If you like shows and concerts, then this is a great match.
The feel and look of a high-end homey resort in Yosemite, can't beat the family friendly playgrounds and lounge spaces and smores for the kiddos. Great food, and of course, Yosemite.
San Francisco art gallery vibes with the ease of an event space. Great canvas for large installations and looks.
Feels like an old bank with columns and spacious high ceilings. Another great canvas for beautiful florals and looks.
Great maritime feels in San Francisco with views of the Bay. Love the circular drive and the lounge areas.
The library is a winner, and the space has that old San Francisco charm, with a hint of old wood and fireplaces for an old school college club feel.
Gorgeous venue in San Jose with bright white stucco walls and dark wood details, high ceilings and fun outdoor ceremony and lounge options.
Another old school charmer; think big river rock and old wood, with a gorgeous view of the Bay.
A favorite restaurant and bar on Gold street, you can rent it out for private parties and weddings! Great food, great service and even a little private alley for your ceremony!
Gorgeous property with gardens and water features, barns and ample lounge areas. Great amenities on site and beautiful peaceful grounds.
Another local favorite, with that Berkeley feel. Gorgeous garden and lawn, outdoor ceremony and dark wood reception space.
Old school event hall with one of the best restrooms I've seen. Think tall ceilings and big majestic steps leading up to the venue and a great hall reception.
Another great garden venue with so many different looks. The redwood grove is always a gorgeous ceremony site and the outdoor indoor reception space is a sweet paradise.
Very San Francisco, with a water view and a cute room for receptions.
A Fairfax favorite. A special location tucked in the redwoods with a lovely outdoor ceremony and reception area.
As a Cal grad, nothing says Berkeley Wedding quite like the Faculty Club. With old school lounges and dark wood accents, plus the location on campus, it's a fun spot.
A hidden gem in Downtown Oakland, beautiful outdoor ceremony and reception area, and love the water fountain courtyard, Victorian styles and palm trees.
A unique venue with a lot of history, this Victorian house is a fun spot with an amazing view and spacious outdoor areas for a ceremony and reception.
A beautiful outdoor campus for receptions and a church on site for a church ceremony.
Another Berkeley favorite with that Julia Morgan design touch and vintage style, a cute library, and the gorgeous pool room is a favorite for beautiful photos.
Marilyn Monroe married here, so you know it's a beauty.
Fun small hotel in downtown Berkeley with a vintage glam feel. Love a striped wallpaper.
What used to be the Sir Francis Drake, this hotel comes with a lot of character but also great location.
A super fun venue for all types of events, this place speaks to the artist and the science buff. It also has great outdoor areas for receptions.
A nice restaurant gem overlooking Lake Merritt, this venue is not only known for a great brunch but quaint weddings as well.
Beautiful rustic barn for an indoor ceremony look with great outdoor lawn area for receptions.
Lovely garden venue in Walnut Creek, with ceremony and reception spots and great gardens for your guests to peruse.
A super unique venue with many cool spaces to have your reception. Penguins swimming while you enjoy a slice of wedding cake? Very cool.
Beautiful artsy gardens in Sonoma, for a bit of that rustic wine country feel, and unique sights and space for your guests to wander around. Outdoor tent reception, pond ceremony space and a barn for dancing.
Beautiful Japanese gardens with lovely outdoor areas for ceremony and receptions.
A unique venue with indoor ceremony room that features old school benches and columns with a vintage rustic feel. The food is yummy and the reception room downstairs is cozy.
